FIRST USDA Organic Toothpaste on the market! Fluoride Free! So safe you can EAT it!

3.4 oz.

This toothpaste will probably be quite different than you are accustomed to. The good thing is that it does not need nasty chemicals to make your mouth clean and refreshed! Our blend of essential oils does that all on its own! You're going to LOVE it! We certainly do!

Explanation of Ingredients:
Organic Aloe Vera Juice: Helps to cleanse your teeth and gums while soothing your entire mouth.

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): Aluminum Free, promotes whitening and helps freshen your breath.

Organic Essential Oil Blend: for breath freshening.

Organic Arrowroot Powder: Used traditionally in the West Indies as a basis for oral vitality. Completely edible. The term 'arrow-root' was originally applied to the root of the Maranta Arundinacea in consequence of its supposed efficacy in counteracting the effects of wounds inflicted by poisoned arrows!

Erythritol: Enhances flavor & naturally prevents without the nasty harmful effects of fluoride.

Bentonite Clay: Has been used for centuries to detoxify the body. When consumed, it absorbs toxins in the digestive tract & eliminates them. Used as a very mild abrasive to clean the teeth. May help re-mineralize the teeth with mild tooth decay. We obtain our Bentonite Clay from Living Clay.

'Every piece of Bentonite clay retains a considerable amount of energy from the large and powerful magnetic entity of the Earth from the volcanic eruption – its negative ionic charge. This electromagnetic action transmits an extraordinary strength to the body's cells and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy. The body has great energy resources, which normally remain dormant; clay awakens them and speeds cellular revitalization. Living Clay® is a powerful agent of stimulation, transformation, detoxing and transmission of energy.' (Livingclayco.com)

'This rare, natural desert Bentonite clay, obtained from a sub-surface mine in California, has been protected from leaching by the climate. In addition, this particular clay deposit was sealed away and isolated from the natural elements by a cap of zeolite minerals for forty-three million years.' (www.livingclayco.com)

'Because its adsorptive properties have not been compromised by air or ground water contaminants, this highly charged, all natural Calcium Bentonite clay has a drawing power of 32 times its molecular weight. Living Clay® supplies the purest, most effective Bentonite clay available today. Characterized by its unique expandable properties, this green swelling Bentonite clay has a greater capacity to draw impurities and excess oils from the skin, as well to detox and bind with toxins.'

Bentonite carries a strong negative charge which allows it to bond to chemicals and heavy metals within the body and remove them. This process also releases beneficial minerals into the body.  There is now research showing that while Bentonite does not release heavy metals into the body, it may have the ability to remove it from water, tissue and contaminated sources.  From my own research, I feel completely comfortable using high quality clays from reputable sources. I personally use clays in these forms for various beauty and natural remedy purposes. But, again, you need to do what is right for YOUR family!

***PROP 65 Warning: "This product has an ingredient (BENTONITE CLAY) known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity" known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity

I’m seeing warnings on some Redmond products. What do they mean?

Poofy's toothpastes are sold with the following statement warning that the product can expose you to a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

⚠️ WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm – www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

These warnings are required by California’s Proposition 65 labeling law, which requires businesses to notify California consumers of the presence of chemicals on the Proposition 65 list under certain circumstances. Proposition 65 does not ban the sale of any products; it only requires warnings. You may have seen similar warnings on other foods and products, or in supermarkets, coffee shops, airports, hotels and restaurants. There are over 900 substances identified on the Proposition 65 chemical list, and new chemicals are added to the list every year.

Certain listed chemicals and elements are naturally occurring and are widely distributed throughout the environment in air, water, soil, rocks and natural clay (which is a key ingredient in some our toothpaste products). As a result, these types of chemicals and elements are often found in commonly eaten foods even though they are not intentionally added to the food.

Does a warning mean that the products aren’t safe?

Poofy Organics is committed to selling products that are safe to use and that also comply with all applicable laws. California’s Proposition 65 is not a food or product safety law, but a notification law that uses very stringent standards to establish when notifications are required. Consistent with that conservative approach, Poofy Organics provides Proposition 65 warnings. Although you should always take heed of warnings, the presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not mean that the product is unsafe. Poofy Organics has no reason to believe that any of the items we sell are unsafe for use as intended.

But I’m not a California resident – why are there warnings on the product I purchased?

The distribution of products – whether Poofy Organics products or any other product – can be very complex, with numerous distribution channels. It is not possible for Poofy Organics, or most other companies, to control where their products ultimately are sold, especially with the continuing rise of e-commerce sites. For this reason, Poofy Organics provides the Proposition 65 warning for all products, no matter where they are sold, even though the warnings are only intended for California customers.

Why don’t all similar products on the market carry the same warning?

Some manufacturers of similar products elect not to provide warnings, because they have concluded that they are not required to do so under Proposition 65. Other manufacturers take a different warning approach, sometimes because they have been involved in a Proposition 65 settlement and are required to provide certain warnings under the settlement agreement.

Still confused?

Love the shine of the toothpaste!

December 5,2022

This is some of the best toothpaste I ever tried! I have no enamel on my teeth and it is very hard to find some good clean toothpaste that actually works well and make my teeth feel clean and shiny. I can honestly say that this toothpaste has definitely made my teeth shiny a lot and I can even tell a difference when I go to the dentist. They don't have to scrap and clean as much as before. I definitely recommend this product!

So good

December 2,2021

I have been using this toothpaste for almost 2 years! Finally made a trip to the dentist a couple weeks ago--first trip since 2019. I've always had soft enamel and struggle with cavities, but this time he said everything looks great and keep doing whatever I'm doing! I use this in combination with the mouth rinse.

Works great and tastes awesome

I’ve been using this toothpaste for a few years now. I haven’t had a single cavity since using it. It has a refreshing minty taste and simple ingredients.

Works great

This toothpaste works really well. My husband really liked it after he got used to the taste. I preferred the taste of the tooth powder over this.

Can’t live without it!

December 5,2019

I was using the tooth powder for a while and decided to give the paste a try and now I can’t use anything else. I’ve tried several other organic toothpastes but seriously, noting beats this stuff.

This toothpaste scared me at first

June 10,2018

When I first tried it, I hated the taste. I thought for sure I would never adjust, and I wouldn’t be able to use Poofy Organics toothpaste. I was devastated, especially because of all the great ingredients!  After a couple of days It all of a sudden tasted fine! I was used to it!  I was recently on a trip and forgot my poofy toothpaste, so I had to use crest 3D 🤢  it was sooo sweet and foamy, I couldn’t handle it.
This toothpaste might be different at first, but I PROMISE you will grow to love it! My teeth always feel clean and fresh, and it leaves a great smell/taste when you’re done!

Pretty good

June 3,2018

It took a little getting used to when transitioning from regular toothpaste. It doesn’t foam up and but you don’t really need foaming toothpaste to get your teeth clean. I ended up liking the tooth powder much better. But it’s a great toothpaste to use if you’re trying to get away from regular toothpaste and go fluoride free.

Works well but is VERY STRONG TASTING

March 19,2018

I wanted to move my son up from the toddler toothpaste to this one. It has a very strong smell and he has been quite resistant about using it because it "tastes bad". We thought he was being overly dramatic so my husband tried it and agreed it was really bad. So back to the toddler toothpaste we go.

September 18,2017

I didn't realize how incredible this toothpaste was until I stopped using it. I went it to get my teeth cleaned, and the dentist gave me a little goodie bag with some floss and a tiny tube of toothpaste. I don't like wasting things, so I decided to use the little tube of toothpaste that the dentist gave me. For the past few days, I felt nauseous, and everything I ate or drank tasted weird. I didn't realize it was the toothpaste until I ran out and started using my Poofy Organics toothpaste again. That is disturbing. I'm never using that stuff again.

Love it!

I absolutely love this toothpaste. It definitely takes some getting used to as it doesn't feel the same as the drug store brands, but it leaves my mouth feeling incredibly clean!

Best toothpaste ever!

August 28,2017

I have health issues that negatively affect the health of my teeth, among other things, and no matter how well I took care of my teeth, I always had cavities whenever I went to the dentist. I've been using this toothpaste for at least a couple years now, and haven't had a cavity since then, it's amazing! I will never use any other toothpaste again :)

Happy Teeth Toothpaste

August 2,2017

My husband and I love this toothpaste, it really works well and keeps your mouth feeling clean all day (with regular use 2 x's a day).

Our only dissatisfaction is with the thick plastic tube it comes in. You cannot get all of the product, therefore there is some waste : (

Works really well

December 9,2016

I have to be the first honest review of the flavor. It's not bad in and of itself, but when you're switching to this toothpaste from your usual offenders like Crest or Colgate the flavor shock takes a while to get used to. Initially I thought it tasted like I was chewing on a rubber band. My wife still won't use it simply because of her being so used to the sugary flavors of corporate brands.

But! After a month or so using it I got used to the flavor and this toothpaste is arguably the most effective I've ever used for cleaning, whitening, and boosting breath freshness. Well done, Poofy.

My favorite!

November 23,2016

I 💙 this toothpaste! My 9 year old daughter has finally found something that gets her breath minty fresh and without all those nasty chemicals. I love it for the same reason. My teeth feel so clean after I use it and you don't need the foaming action for clean teeth!

The only toothpaste I use!

May 31,2016

I've been using this toothpaste for about a year, and love it! I've tried a bunch of different natural toothpastes. My husband, who doesn't care much for "natural" products, loves it too - he said after the first time he used it: "can you keep buying this one? I really like it!" We both really like how it has kind of an intense flavor. And my mouth feels very clean afterwards!

Must have!

May 29,2016

This toothpaste is what initially drew me to Poofy! Toothpaste and deodorant are the most difficult products to find as organic options so when I first tried the toothpaste I was hooked. We will not be without this toothpaste, it's a must in our house and I keep it fully stocked!

I love the product but I am not happy with the plastic tube it comes in. I must use scissors when no more will squeeze out and to not waste any of it.

Look forward to teeth brushing!

December 8,2015

Only used this for a day, but the flavor is so delicious I almost want to eat it! At least I know it's safe if I accidently do! Pair with a Sonicare toothbrush and you'll have the sparkliest teeth out there! I look forward to brushing my teeth now!

Healing and Invigorating !

September 8,2015

My daughter had little cavities that are slowly going away due to the clay content in this toothpaste.   She started with the Cheery Cherry, but now uses this one too.   My whole family loves how fresh and clean this toothpaste leaves your mouth.  After the initial couple of times experiencing the spiciness of it, we all have come to like the invigorating flavor of it.

This toothpaste gets my teeth sparkling and my breath fresh!  It was a little "spicey" at first, but after a few days of brushing I got use to it.

Spicy, refreshing and worth it!

August 14,2015

Every time I brush with this toothpaste, I think to myself, "ain't nobody dope as me, I'm just so fresh, so clean" (courtesy of Outkast).  It's a little spicy at first, and then the mint kicks in and your mouth will love it.  Since switching from store bought, I have found that my sensitivity from recession has gone down.  It also makes my teeth feel smooth and shiny.  The only thing I like better than this is the tooth powder.
